Google Tasks from your phone, by text
Add, complete, and check your Google Tasks without opening the Tasks app. Same list, accessible from chat.
Google Tasks is great until you remember that the Tasks app is a separate app, and the most likely moment you remember a task is the least likely moment you'll open it.
Make your tasks reachable from wherever you already are — chat.
Add
You: Add "pay the electricity bill" to my Google Tasks, due Friday.
Kin: Added to your default task list: "Pay the electricity bill", due 2026-05-16. ✓
List
You: What's on my Google Tasks?
Kin: • Pay the electricity bill — due Fri • Renew gym membership — overdue (was due Mon) • Draft the proposal for Acme — no due date • Book flights to Lisbon — due Jun 1
Overdue items are flagged so you don't miss them.
Complete
You: Mark the gym one done.
Kin: Marked "Renew gym membership" as completed.
Multiple lists
If you use multiple Google Tasks lists (Work / Personal / Errands), Kin will ask which list when you add — or remember from your past choices. Listing pulls from whichever list you ask about.
What about the Kin-local Tasks page?
Kin maintains its own tasks list inside the dashboard at /dashboard/tasks. That's separate from Google Tasks — useful if you want a workspace that lives entirely inside Kin without syncing anywhere.
When you say "tasks" without context, Kin asks which you mean. Set a preference in long-term memory once and you'll never be asked again.
